I'm sorry to say but that is NOT malachite. It's obvious through the translucency and colour. It looks like DYED agate. Please do not mislead your customers.

Thank you very much for the alert. After speaking with the designer and supplier of the stones, we have reaffirmed that they are indeed malachite in spite of its translucence and clarity. Although in massive forms they are opaque and dull, in crystalline forms, malachite is translucent and have a silky, glossy finish. What makes this recognisably and distinctively malachite, too, is the alternating bands of swirling patterns of light and dark greens.
